Popular Questions

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • How old does a Master SCUBA Diver have to be?

Divers as young as 10 can start a Master SCUBA Diver program but the minimum age to hold the certificate of a Master SCUBA Diver is 12 years old.

The program is designed to be done over time.  Just like you can't become an expert in something in a weekend, you can't become a Master SCUBA Diver in a weekend!

  • What Specialties can I do?

You need to choose PADI standard diving specialties.  We can suggest some popular specialties that can easily be completed locally or you can choose to complete specialties on one of our group diving trips that offer a unique diving experience like drift diving or boat diving!

  • How long do I have to complete the program?

You have as much time as it takes.  We don't put a time limit on your training and your purchase does not have an expiration date.

  • Can I complete a specialty on a dive trip?

Yes!  We think that is an excellent idea.  A Master SCUBA Diver should have experience in a variety of different diving conditions including warm, clear water with lots of stuff to see!

  • Will I have the same Instructor for all my classes?

Possibly.  Most of our instructors teach a wide variety of specialties.  You may very well be able to complete your program with just one instructor.  If you choose a specialty your instructor doesn't teach or if you just wanna try out another instructor all you have to do is let us know and we'll arrange it!
