All PADI courses are performance based so there's no way to know exactly how long it will take but Scubaland's program is scheduled in such a way that it can be completed in 8-12 weeks Training sessions occur primarily on evenings and weekends.
Although we have a general schedule of events, participants have some flexibility in setting the training schedule in order to accommodate personal schedules and mastery of the course material.
Most participants will spend approximately $1,500 over a two month period for course fees, materials fees, equipment upgrades, and various other miscellaneous expenses.
We will always work with you to protect the investments you've made in your professional SCUBA education. Occasionally, training is interrupted for life or work related reasons. In those cases we will put your training on hold until the next class cycle starts.
We like to use the professionals that we train, but we do not guarantee employment as a Divemaster. You will be evaluated by our instructional staff throughout your training on your dive skills, your attitude, and your professionalism.
Most of our Divemaster candidates go on to Divemaster with Scubaland and later become SCUBA Instructors.
This rarely happens. However, if you struggle with some aspect of the training we will remediate your training at no additional charge until you are able to successfully meet the requirements to become a PADI Divemaster.
