I’ve had a passion for the underwater world since 3rd grade and have been doodling sea creatures on homework ever since. I finally became an Open Water Diver in 2016 to dive with the manta rays and whale sharks in the Georgia Aquarium. Being on the inside of the exhibit changed my whole perspective that led me to professional experience as an aquarium diver at the Texas State Aquarium. I loved spending hours underwater every day with perfect vis and fish with such radiant personalities.
I got so much gratification from teaching guests about our exhibits and training new divers. I started to pursue my PADI certifications so I could continue to turn my passion into a profession. Currently I am working to become a DiveMaster and have an endless list of certifications I want to accomplish afterwards.
When I’m not underwater, you can always find me outdoors! My latest hobbies include bouldering, hiking, and spending far too much time in plant nurseries.
